It looks like an iPad, only it’s 1/14th the cost: India has unveiled the prototype of a $35 basic touchscreen tablet aimed at students, which it hopes to bring into production by 2011.

This could be an answer to millions of Indians deprived of a Computer simply because they couldnt afford it. Plus this could be a great tool for mass education, where every child in a government school can own this and can access the best of the world through it. Way to go India. Hope this one goes in production soon.
